Xufuji's production base in Dongguan covers an area of more than 500000 square meters, with a daily output of more than 1600 tons. The demand for electricity for production is large, and the cost of electricity is high! Therefore, choosing to build a photovoltaic power station is Xufuji's first choice for energy conservation, emission reduction and electricity cost saving!

The total installed capacity of Xufuji Photovoltaic Power Station is 5.17MW, divided into multiple plants, with an estimated annual power generation of more than 5 million kilowatt hours, which will greatly increase the proportion of green power used by enterprises, and generate power for Xufuji universities, saving electricity and money!

After the installation of the power station, about 4450 tons of standard coal can be saved every year, 3805 tons of carbon dioxide, 0.8 tons of sulfur dioxide and 0.9 tons of nitrogen can be reduced, further helping enterprises to build low-carbon plants and achieve green and sustainable development.

What are the conditions needed to build a commercial and industrial PV power plant?

1. Commercial and industrial building information

--- Project record information, project design plans, building load analysis, etc. are required.

2. Examination of commercial and industrial roofs

(1) Shadow shading around the building and from buildings attached to the roof. If there is shading, the shading area needs to be excluded in the module layout design, the design standard is 9am to 3pm on the winter solstice, no shading of the PV array.

(2) Roof orientation, facing south is the best, the longest sunshine hours, the same installed capacity, the largest power generation.

(3) Roof types can be divided into concrete roofs and colour steel tile roofs. Concrete roofs are usually installed at the best tilt angle, while colour steel tile roofs are generally laid flat along the roof surface. Concrete roofs are usually installed at the optimum angle of inclination, while tiled roofs are generally installed flat along the roof, which has a larger installed capacity and can be optimised according to the project characteristics.

(4) If it is a colour steel tile roof, it is necessary to observe the age of the colour steel tile, surface corrosion, the type of colour steel tile (mainly angle-rule type, upright locking edge type, trapezoid, etc.), according to the type of colour steel tile, design the installation method of the rail.

(5) Roof waterproofing. If there is leakage on the roof, waterproofing should be done before installing the component rails.

(6) Based on the relative position between the roof and the grid connection point, reasonably design the PV cable orientation, optimise the cable usage, reduce transmission losses and save construction costs.

(7) Assess roof loads. Concrete roofs are generally designed for a load of 200kg/m, which can meet the load requirements of PV systems. Colour steel tile roofs need to be re-accounted for according to the building structure plans.

(8) The surrounding environment of the plant. The road traffic around the plant is convenient, whether there is enough space for lifting photovoltaic equipment, etc.

(9) Site survey is an important part of the pre-development work of PV projects, in addition to collecting documents and information related to the project, it also needs to be supplemented with some measuring tools, such as tape measure, distance meter, locator, satellite map, etc.

3. Power distribution

--- The internal transformer capacity of the enterprise and the voltage level and line access capacity of the transmission line of the enterprise's surrounding grid, combined with the installed capacity of the project, determine the best mode of grid connection.

4. Electricity consumption of the enterprise

--- Pull the enterprise's electricity consumption list for the past year, understand the enterprise's electricity consumption and tariff level, analyse the enterprise's ability to consume the energy generated by the PV power project, and explore the operation mode with the best yield of the PV project.

5. The nature of the enterprise's operation

--- The industry in which the enterprise operates and the functional design of the workshop, generally avoiding the use of plant roofs that emit corrosive gases (e.g. chemical workshops, chemical cleaning workshops, etc.) and emit dust (e.g. foundry workshops) to avoid emissions corroding and polluting the PV modules and affecting the power generation capacity and service life of the PV system.

6. Relevant codes and policies

--- The development of rooftop distributed power plants cannot be separated from the promotion of relevant national policies; conversely, policy adjustments for distributed photovoltaic power plants will certainly have a significant impact on the construction of rooftop distributed photovoltaic.

7. Local natural conditions

--- The project site's meteorological data for the past 50 years, such as heavy snowfall, high winds and earthquakes, will be used to take precautionary measures during the construction and operation and maintenance of the project. For rooftop distributed PV projects in coastal areas, fully consider the impact of typhoons and increase the wind protection level of PV arrays and electrical equipment.
